Raychem IN-PIPE Cables - Mini, Miser & Retro

RAYCHEM In-Pipe Mini is a pipe freeze protection system that utiliizes a heavy-duty cable that is made entirely of metal and mineral insulation, the nVent RAYCHEM In-Pipe Mini is an energy efficient in-pipe heating cable for pipes between 14 and 34 feet (4.3 and 10.4 m) in length. In-Pipe Mini includes a thermostat.

Additional Product Information:

-        -  Designed for use with 1/2” to 1-1/4” polyethylene, PVC, CPVC, and copper pipes

-        -  Suitable for use in potable water

RAYCHEM In-Pipe Retro is a pipe freeze protection system that heats uninsulated plastic pipes from the inside and is intended for applications where an existing pipe cannot be insulated. For lengths between 40 and 70 feet, a thermostat and a 120-volt plug-in GFI protection device are included. For lengths between 80 and 250 feet, only the thermostat is included, a 240-volt power supply is required and the heating cable must be connected to a GFI breaker.  Because all RAYCHEM In-Pipe Retro cables incorporate a double run of heating cable, a high level of heat is produced and the pipe is freeze protected without the need for insulation.

Additional Product Information:

-        -  Designed for use with 1" and 1-1/4" polyethylene pipes that are not insulated

-        -  Suitable for use in potable water

RAYCHEM In-Pipe Miser is an energy efficient in-pipe heat trace cable for pipe freeze protection of insulated plastic potable water lines. The RAYCHEM In-Pipe Miser heat trace cables are designed for the cottage industry or installations where the water supply pipes are buried or cannot be accessed and are subject to freezing. This unique solution heats the pipe from the inside. Energy efficiency is achieved by the combination of low heat and an electronic temperature controller that turns on the heating cable when heat is needed. To comply with national and local electrical codes, RAYCHEM In-Pipe Miser has integrated 27ma ground-fault protection. RAYCHEM In-Pipe Miser is designed for use with 1 in and 1-1/4 in (25 mm and 32 mm) PE pipes and requires closed-cell thermal insulation.
